The HP Powerup Backpack is a power bank for your notebook, as well as a knapsack

Looks are deceiving when it comes to HP’s Powerup Backpack. What looks like a normal knapsack for smartphones, tablets, and notebooks is exactly that, but with a built in 84 watt-hours 22,400mAh battery, and some intelligent and smart designs.

This US$200 (RM809) convenience has some nifty gadget-centric design like an internal cable routing and management system, charge priority, and temperature monitor and management that will tone down the amps as necessary, to make sure you nor your gear gets too hot.

Users can charge the internal battery and all the attached devices via a single cable that extends from one of the side pockets, and use their smartphone while still being tethered to the backpack.

According to HP, the battery can charge a phone up to 10 times, a tablet up to 3 times, and a notebook to full charge. This, of course, depends on the device's native battery capacity.

HP also said that the Powerup Backpack ‘meets TSA carry-on regulations’, however, it is worth noting that different countries have different rules on high capacity batteries on flights.

Strangely, this one stop nest for all your precious gadgets has no security features. If you'd like to pre-order this bag, you can do so here.
