Google has officially launched Android Nougat 7.0 before the iOS 10 launch and it is available for Nexus devices first.
Android 7.0 Nougat will be available for selected devices including the Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus Player, Nexus 9, Pixel C and Android One devices. Google also said that the app installation will be 75% faster than before and the application size will be reduced by 50%.
Apart from that, Android 7.0 Nougat also have some new features and improvements. It can enable users to run two apps side-by-side, reply directly to notifications without having to open any apps. It also can let you switch between two most recently used apps by double tapping the overview button.
Besides, the Android 7.0 Nougat also will add on new emojis, a new Quick Settings control, multi-locale support, an improved Doze feature and support for Daydeam mode.
Other than Nexus devices, LG V20 will be the first smartphone that run Android 7.0 Nougat, while other devices need to wait the update to Android 7.0 Nougat.
