ECS introduces the new H110S-2P Mini-STX motherboard

Previously revealed during COMPUTEX this year, the LIVA Pro is ECS' latest mini PC system. It runs on the ECS H110S-2P Mini-STX motherboard, which is now available separately for those who want to build their own mini PCs.

“The Mini Socket Technology Extended (Mini-STX) platform brings the performance and the configuration flexibility of traditional tower desktops to mini PCs. The LIVA Pro from ECS is a great example of cooperation between Intel and ECS to drive innovative solutions on Desktop,” said Health Winston, Director Intel Desktop Chipset and Customer Marketing.

With the philosophy of “Less is more”, ECS made sure both the LIVA Pro and H110S-2P support Intel’s Skylake H110 chipset and LGA1151 TDP 65W CPU. This combination promises to provide users with powerful computing capabilities within a small package.

In terms of input/output (I/O), both products have GbE LAN, 802.11AC/BT 4.0, SATA 6Gbps, USB 3.0 Type-C, RS232 Port and Intel Dual-channel technology. With the various ports supported, ECS’s new products provide users with great flexibility to handle any task.

The Mini-STX motherboard is smaller than the Mini-ITX and with a reduced layout on the printed circuit board (PCB), both the LIVA Pro and H110S-2P maintain various features of the previous board but on a smaller scale.
